Much coolers temps around SW Montana on Monday are prompting Winter Weather Advisories for high elevations. Good news for areas prone to fires, bad news for those of us who aren't ready for Summer to end.
Perhaps THIS will be the next storm that actually hits Bozeman and the surrounding area. The highest elevations could see up to 10 inches with perhaps just a few in town. High winds should affect the entire county,
Another round of snow is on the way for Gallatin County. Both the valleys and mountains (in the the north AND the south) should get at least a few inches of snow by Monday afternoon. More gusty winds will accompany this next front.
The southern region of Gallatin County along the Montana/Idaho border is included in this weekend's Winter Weather Advisory. Mountain passes will experience hazardous travel conditions with up to 12" of snow possible.
