Lake County Sheriff Don Bell said the identity of the teen who was killed in a crash with deputies on Saturday has been released by the Missoula County Sheriff and Coroner’s Office.

The first calls came in to 9-1-1 late Wednesday evening with vehicles sliding off icy roads in the Butte and Kalispell areas, then as the weather front struck the Missoula area, I-90 became a skating rink for the morning commute.
24 year-old Eduardo Lopez appeared in Missoula Justice Court on Monday, charged with negligent homicide and criminal endangerment after driving the wrong way on I-90 last week and allegedly causing the death of a woman in a fiery head-on crash.
