New relaxed marijuana laws in Washington and Colorado have helped lead to new policies by the U.S. Justice Department, allowing states to regulate the drug, as long as they keep it away from children, the black market and off federal property.
It's a story that started in March of 2011, when federal agents raided many marijuana grow operations and dispensaries in Montana and arrested people who were growing pot in accordance with the state’s medical marijuana law. The story is now gaining traction, again, with Eric Stern's thoughts posted yesterday.
The Montana Senate successfully passed two bills concerning Montana's medical marijuana. The first bill aims to regulate the framework of the industry and the second aims to terminate the industry. What are your thoughts on the current state of medical marijuana in Montana. Do you have a story as to why it should be abolished? Seems there are a lot of fingers being pointed and feelings hurt but where is the accountability for all these actions?
