NEW YORK (AP) — New Yorkers who got into minor trouble in Manhattan have been sentenced to Sandy.

Attorneys at the Manhattan District Attorney's office wanted to help with cleanup efforts and created the weeklong community service program.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie recently praised President Obama for his support and attention to the crisis of Hurricane Sandy. Does this mean Christie supports President Obama in the upcoming election? I'll leave that up to Christie to decide, but I do know it's great to see everyone working together when Americans are in need.
