Educators from University of Montana’s spectrUM Discovery Area and We Are Montana in the Classroom program will visit Bozeman Thursday, Feb. 4, to share their passion for learning and exploring with K-12 students.

At Whittier Elementary School, spectrUM will lead in-school field trips with its “Best in Show” exhibition, a collection of some its most popular traveling exhibits. Featuring hands-on exhibits and activities that explore neuroscience, health, nanotechnology, physics and engineering, “Best of Show” will transform the school’s gym into a science learning center.

Students also can explore the exhibition with family, friends and community members at a free Family Science Night from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, at Whittier Elementary School.
