I'd like to thank all of the KMMS-AM listeners for the wonderful welcome to the airwaves Monday morning.  I look forward to learning more about this wonderful community and about you as listeners.  As I said this morning, I have been in town for a little more than a week and I'm now able to find my way from my apartment to the studio and back without becoming horribly lost.  I've had some wonderful meals at The Bacchus Pub, The Pour House, Tarantino's Pizzeria and a few other places around town.  But for a quick bite on the go, I instantly became a Frank's Deli Fan!

To prepare myself for my new role as KMMS-AM's Morning Show Host, I spent a fair number of hours listening to News/Talk stations around the country.  The biggest thing I discovered is the conversations nearly always started and continue
d in a "Us vs. Them" tone.  I found that to be just a little unsettling…  It is my ideal that "We" have much more in common, we all would like the best  for ourselves, family, friends and country.  No matter if you identify yourself as a Conservative, Progressive, Republican, Democrat or Other - know your view is welcome here.

One of the biggest things I took away from the show today is you'd like to know a little more about me, so here we go!

I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, growing up I was the "oddball" kid who really didn't care what the Steelers did on the field as I was always, and remain, a Pittsburgh Penguins fan.  This past season just broke my heart…  By the time I reached college I wanted to be an Engineer/Architect, but my advisor suggested I just focus on one major at a time.  I took what was to become a semester off turned into a little more than a decade living in Vermont where I jumped into Radio when I was between jobs.  I left Vermont to backpack around the World.  Upon my return, I landed back in radio in my hometown of Pittsburgh with a job behind the scenes.  I eventually grew tired of Pittsburgh and headed West landing in Boulder, CO.  It was shortly after I arrived in Colorado I started working with a station part-time, eventually becoming the full-time Morning Show Producer.  After an eight year run in Denver, my position was eliminated and Bozeman, MT called to me.

And here I am!

Please feel free to email me with your thoughts, stories, segment ideas or just to say "Hi!"
