A robbery occurred early this morning, May 2, and police are looking for leads. Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh says there are few details about the suspect.

"A little after 4:00 a.m. officers responded to what was reported as an armed robbery at a casino in the 2700 block of North Reserve street," Welsh said. "Once there, they learned that a lone male dressed from head to toe in black and carrying a silver semi-automatic handgun had entered and encountered one employee and one patron."

The man then forced the two people into the bathroom and told them not to come out until he was gone.

"They described [the robber] as being about 5'7" and about medium build, but said he was wearing a scarf over his face, a black hat, shirt, pants and shoes... all black. We have seen a little bit of surveillance video that shows him leaving west through the parking lot on foot."

The robber escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, which he carried in a red and black shoulder bag.
