Leadership Montana, a leadership development organization, has opened the application process for the Class of 2017. Selected participants will meet in communities across the state during the months of September, 2016 to May, 2017. Applications are accepted until April 15.

“Participants gain a deeper knowledge of issues facing Montana today and how we each play a role in building a better Montana,” said executive director Chantel Schieffer. “We look forward to receiving applications from all corners of our state.”

The Class of 2017 will visit Big Sky, Great Falls, Missoula, Helena, Butte, Glendive and Billings. During visits, participants will learn about challenges and opportunities facing Montana through conversations with community leaders and tours of emerging and traditional businesses. In addition to issue education, Leadership Montana offers participants a program that strengthens leadership skills while fostering personal growth and reflection.
