The 9/11 First Responders deserve far more than Congress is doing. So much so, comedian Jon Stewart met with members of Congress and ill first responders to demand an extension of the Zadroga 9/11 health bill.

The Zadroga 9/11 health bill was approved more than five years ago as a test for fraud and abuse. According to Stewart, there has been none on both accounts. The bill expired in September, was removed as an attachment to the, just passed, transportation bill, leaving funds to expire in just a few weeks.

The offices of Senators Tester and Daines, as well as Congressman Zinke's have all been contacted for a statement late today. They will be posted tomorrow.
