Every summer hundreds of thousands of folks come to Montana for vacation.  Whether it's to see one of our National Parks, spend time in the mountains, take up fly fishing, river rafting, or one of the many other activities we offer here in Big Sky Country.

Now there are a few things that folks need to know before they come to Montana. First off, you should NEVER, under any circumstance think it's a good idea to pet the wildlife.  I realize that probably sounds ridiculous to most of you, but it happens every year, multiple times.

Second, unless you plan on camping in a tent you will want to be prepared because staying in Montana isn't cheap.

However, during the summer, a night at a hotel can not only be hard to come by, but it can also be very costly. So, if you're looking for a nice place to stay and aren't concerned with all of the "extras", we have a list of The Top 5 Best Bozeman Hotels On A Budget.

To determine the hotels for our list, we decided to put in some random dates in July over at Expedia and see what hotels/motels were charging.  To be considered for the list, a location must be under 300 dollars a night, and have a rating of "Good" or better.

Keep in mind, that certain dates might be more, and room availability could be limited.
