Rep. Greg Gianforte, R-Mont., voted for fiscal responsibility and says he is against a spree of more than $300 billion in new discretionary spending.

“I voted earlier this week to responsibly fund the government, restore our military after years of neglect, and protect Montana’s community health centers, and I would do it again today,” Gianforte said. “Unfortunately, Senate Democrats refused to take this approach and gave us a budget that continues to feed Washington’s addiction to overspending. It’s another example of how broken Washington is. This bloated, budget-busting bill takes care of Washington special interests, all the while saddling future generations with debt.”
