Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office Warns Of Identity Theft

The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office has recently received several reports of Identity Theft tax fraud. Victims report that upon filing their tax returns they learn that they cannot file because their social security numbers have already been used to file a claim this year.

The Gallatin County Sheriff’s is currently working with the IRS regarding the investigation that has affected individuals nationwide.
