Free Meals for Kids During the Summer
Wow, so how about this statistic? Families can end up spending an extra $300 per month on food when kids are out of school. That’s one reason the HRDC’s Summer Lunch Program provides FREE breakfast and lunch to kids under 18 at more than 11 sites throughout the Gallatin Valley during June, July and August. Sweet Peaks will serve free ice cream next week at designated locations (see below).
Bozeman Public Library – Breakfast is served from 9:30-10:15 a.m. and lunch is served 12-1 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Kirk Park – Lunch is served in the parking lot across Beall Street from 22nd Street from 12-1 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Irving Elementary – Lunch is served by the gardens 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Montana State University – SOB Barn Park/Lawn Lunch is served 12-1 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Beall Park – Lunch is served 11a.m. -12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
In Belgrade – at Kathy Hollensteiner Park from 12-1 p.m. Monday-Friday.
In Three Forks – at Stevenson Park from 11:30 a.m.- 12 p.m.Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
