Montana Cowboys & Cowgirls are invited to come and join in the entertainment of the World Class Bucking Horse Futurity at the Whitehall Rodeo Grounds. Barrels will begin on June 8th, and the Bucking Horses will take off at 6:00pm on June 9th.

Former PRCA saddle bronc rider, Bob Pecora, was raised around rodeo and has a love and respect for great bucking horses and the utmost regard for the people who raise them. Determined to continue the tradition of rodeo, the Bob Pecora Professional Bucking Horse Futurity was established. Through this program, contractors will be able to buck their 4 and 5 year old saddle broncs at events with large purses and great awards.

The professional bucking horse futurities were developed for the bucking horse breeders and contractors. There is a lot of pride involved in raising bucking horses and customizing each individual breeding program. The futurity emphasizes the importance of these breeding programs. Competitions against one another, elevates that pride to the highest level.
We envision the professional bucking horse futurities to be an incentive for breeders to further develop their breeding programs and cultivate a superior quality athlete. Not to mention, increase the value of these incredible horses. Furthermore; we want to give the public a better understanding of the work and dedication it takes to produce these high caliber bucking horses. And, of course, provide great entertainment by watching these extraordinary animals perform at what they were bred to do….BUCK!
