Dallas Stars Player Rich Peverley Collapses, Game To Be Rescheduled [VIDEO]

Dallas Stars player Rich Peverley collapsed on the bench in the first period of their game against the Columbus Blue Jackets Monday night. Peverley was taken to an area hospital, where doctors successfully treated him for what they called a "cardiac event." The NHL said that Peverley was doing well and was in stable condition.

The game, which the Blue Jackets had been leading 1-0, was suspended and will be made up at a later time.
