According to the LA Times, Mel Gibson swung by an LAPD precinct last night to be fingerpinted and have his mugshot taken after last week's no contest plea to the charges of battery pressed by ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

Mormon raised and co-creator of the controversial adult cartoon South Park, Matt Stone pairs up with fellow South Park creator Trey Parker to put on a Broadway musical titled 'Book of Mormon'. The play actually moves rather than offends many of the believers in the audience. The Musical opens March 24.
The iconic voice of Gilbert Gottfried was fired as the voice of the Aflac duck after Gilbert rattled off what he thought were hilarious tweets poking fun at the events of Japan's current disaster. There weren't a whole lot of surprises at the 83rd Academy Awards -- as expected, "The King's Speech" took the big prize as Best Picture. The film about King George VI overcoming his stutter also garnered a Best Actor statue for Colin Firth and a Best Director win for Tom Hooper.
"King"'s four statuettes tied "Inception," which also nabbed four awards in technical categories, for the most Oscars.
Oscar favorite Natalie Portman also took home the Best Actress statuette for her role in "Black Swan," and Melissa Leo and Christian Bale of "The Fighter" cleaned up in the supporting role categories.
