Montanans will always stick up for themselves when it comes to false information, and this is a perfect example.

Locals and tourists love Montana's ski areas and resorts. Skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and more are all available at most ski spots in Montana. This past winter season was fantastic, and people loved the snow we got for several months.

Montanans love their ski areas and resorts and will protect these mountains at all costs. So when someone tries to discredit or critique our mountains, we will always have their back. In this case, one Montana ski resort clapped back at a social media influencer, and it's perfect.

Yahoo reports that Instagrammer Stormm Ravenda criticized Big Sky Resort, saying the mountain mislabels its trail runs and the difficulty isn't what it seems. The influencer went on to say these runs were relabeled due to marketing purposes.

The guy said that Big Sky Resort's triple black diamond runs are more like double black diamonds.

Big Sky Resort decided to defend its honor and noticed in the video the guy was nowhere near the triple black diamond runs. So they responded to him on his Instagram post, and so did other Montana locals. Locals quickly pointed out that the area of Big Sky Resort he was skiing in wouldn't have any triple black diamond runs.

So what did the influencer do in response? He deleted his post.

Handshakes and high fives for Big Sky Resort and locals having each other backs. We need to stick together, and we can't let people try to discredit our beautiful state.

I love it when we all come together for one goal. It's a beautiful thing.
