Bozeman resident and co-founder of Racial Equity Montana Judith Heilman spoke with me this morning on the topic of subtle racism.
Judith was gracious enough to be the first guest in a series - Race Relations in America, Montana & Bozeman
"He looked at me dead serious and said in a loud voice, 'I know you.' I didn't recognize him, and he says, 'You're the gal who stole my wallet on the DC Metro," Heilman recalled about an incident in which a man approached her in Bozeman.
Listen to the full conversation below and join me tomorrow at 8 a.m. for a conversation with Ben Pease. Ben you may remember from his previous visits. He is a Native American artist and will bring his unique perspective to the table to further this discussion on race relations.
