Over 100 people gathered in downtown Missoula yesterday for a rally to protest the resettlement of Syrian refugees into western Montana.

The  man and woman accused of savagely killing a Missoula Super 8 Motel worker and stabbing an elderly woman in a supermarket parking lot have entered pleas of not guilty in district court.

Today, December 24, Missoula County Attorney Kirsten Pabst and Chief Deputy Missoula County Attorney Jason Marks charged the couple in connection with the Missoula Fresh Market stabbing and the Super 8 Motel murder.

Montana State University's chief of police issued a statement about a stabbing on campus Tuesday afternoon, letting people know that two people are in custody and there does not appear to be a threat to campus safety.
