Rivers

The Montana Department of Health and Human Services is advising residents of Montana to be on the lookout for harmful algal blooms.

Temperatures have been warning up so the snow pack is starting to melt off and head for the rivers. This can make a major impact on river levels very quickly, and we're under a Flood Advisory in Gallatin County until Friday night.

Residents in Gallatin County are encouraged to closely monitor water levels around them with spring runoff picking up.  With water levels on the rise the past couple days and the forecast weather this week will likely contribute to more water coming out of the mountains.
