Montana topped South Dakota and our neighboring states in the latest GDP report out of the Minneapolis Fed. Plus, another round of tax relief should continue to fuel the Montana economy.

You gotta check out this chart. Look at the states that raised taxes. Look at the states that lowered taxes. Now look at Montana.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is in Montana Monday afternoon touting a balanced budget amendment to rein in federal deficit spending. Montana Governor Greg Gianforte joined DeSantis in a Monday afternoon press conference. Here's the full video and more.

"Tax cuts could save Montanans millions, but leave cities scrambling." Ah yes...the state will figure out how to cut our property taxes...but the cities: "HOW WILL WE EVER FIGURE IT OUT???!!!"

I was certainly interested in hearing the Governor's take...would he call out the 9 Republican state senators voting with Democrats on rules and committee assignments...or would he call out legislative leaders?

I'm glad Speaker of the Montana House Brandon Ler (R-Savage) brought it up. We've been getting a lot of messages and calls from parents concerned that Montana hospitals are trying to circumvent parents rights when it comes to their child's medical information.

Promises made, promises kept. Senator Sheehy: "To my Democrat colleagues in this chamber, I hope you'll listen to the will of the people, which is to leave the crazy behind and put America first."

One of our listeners, Larry in Great Falls, shared a great update- a bill to stop taxing Social Security benefits in Montana is moving forward in the state House of Representatives.

Tom Burnett: "If this thing renews, it better have work requirements as promised that stand up to court challenge, because we know what courts do in this state."
