As Bozeman continues to grow, so do the options to shop and dine. For some, that's great news, for others, they're not fans of new growth.

Small businesses are the lifeblood of every town in Montana. In 2021, Montana was named the Best State to Open a Business and even then, there's a five-year business survival rate of 53.4%.

An honest plea for guidance from an area business owner sparked a flurry of online conversation, filled with honesty, advice, commiseration, rough perspectives, and a hefty dose of abrasive snap backs.

Handmade candles seem to be a Montana-made specialty. Small businesses at their best creating custom items. Your choices of design, fragrance, and decoration are vast with many Montana based makers.

There's no better way to support small town Montana that has been affected by the historic flooding than to spend your dollars directly with locally owned businesses.

I really hope someone buys this joint and keeps it a hotel. Just my two cents but I've always loved that the Western Heritage Inn was a hidden gem of East Main Street. It's never been fancy. It's always been tidy.

You've seen them, right? Nationally based pages and groups trying to appear as local Bozeman experts. People that actually live here aren't having it and have not been shy about their comments.

One of the real joys about living here is checking out all the Blue and Gold Bobcat apparel as you travel around town. To say Bozeman is "Bobcat Crazy" would be an understatement.
