FFA

I was chatting with Lane Nordlund on the radio Tuesday morning from the Montana Farm Bureau convention in Billings, and he made a great point. Until 1969, young women weren't even allowed to serve in the FFA (Future Farmers of America). Now, for the first time ever, a woman from Montana has been selected to serve as a national officer.

You don't have to be a farm or ranch kid to benefit from a strong leadership organization like FFA. Courtney Clairmont of Ronan, and FFA Foundation VP Scott Aspenleider join us on Montana Talks.

One thing that truly disappoints me is the self-centered, to the point of cloister, the closed mindedness of Montana Agriculture; specifically Montana FFA.
