Looks like Don Lapre finally found an audience who wouldn’t buy what he was selling. After the self-proclaimed ‘King of Infomercials’ failed to appear for his Wednesday arraignment on 41 counts (including conspiracy, mail fraud, wire fraud and promotional money laundering), a bench warrant was issued for his arrest. Deputy US Marshals caught up with him the next day in Tempe, AZ.

Two men were arrested late Wednesday after federal officials said they planned to attack a military processing center in Seattle using grenades and firearms.

Last week, James Verone walked into an RBC bank –sans gun – with a robbery plan. However, unlike most bank robbers, his plan did not involve walking out with loads of cash. Instead, the 59-year-old North Carolina man actually wanted to be arrested so he’d have access to prison healthcare provided by the government.

University of New Mexico football player Deshon Marman’s trip to San Francisco was already sad enough before police got involved. Marman, who was in the city to attend the funeral of a high school friend, was arrested at San Francisco International Airport Wednesday after he refused to pull up his saggy pants while on a plane heading to Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Recently, a Stockton, California man had his front door kicked down, was dragged in his underwear to his front yard and handcuffed in front of his three children by a SWAT team. The reason? His estranged wife had defaulted on her student loan payments, and the U.S. Department of Education apparently sent the heavily armed squad in to collect.

An arrest in Arizona earlier in December has put a former West Yellowstone man behind bars when he was reeled in on a Gallatin County warrant for a charge on assault with a weapon related to a West Yellowstone shooting.
