"The illegal aliens have been identified as Tren de Aragua Gang members." -US Border Patrol Havre Sector

Last week, when there was rumor of cartel activity on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation, there were also rumors about something going on in Havre, Montana. Now we know why.

US Border Patrol Havre Sector confirmed on their Facebook page that a US citizen has been arrested for aiding in the smuggling of three Tren de Aragua (TdA) illegal alien gang members. (Thanks to one of our readers/listeners for the tip!)

Here's the info from the Border Patrol:

On March 4, 2025, Havre Sector Agents apprehended a subject involved in the smuggling of 3 illegal aliens. The illegal aliens have been identified as Tren de Aragua Gang members. The smuggler, a US citizen will be prosecuted for 8 USC 1324—BRINGING IN AND HARBORING ALIENS. The illegal aliens will be charged with: 8 USC 1326—RE-ENTY OF REMOVED ALIENS and 8 USC 1325—IMPROPER ENTRY BY ALIEN

I placed a phone call and sent e-mails to the Border Patrol seeking more info.
A Havre Sector Intel Agent also played a crucial role in tracking down a wanted murderer, according to another post on the Havre Sector's Facebook page.
We told you back in November how the Department of Homeland Security had finally confirmed that TdA was operating in Montana. We have already been reporting at length about the presence of the Mexican drug cartels in the state.
