What are some of the best products Made in Montana? It's always cool seeing what got highlighted at the Made in Montana trade show. Here's who took home some awards.

Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen recognized the award recipients following the 2025 Made in Montana Tradeshow.

In a press release sent out over the weekend, Secretary of State Jacobsen notes that "the annual event hosted by the Montana Department of Commerce celebrated its 27th year of welcoming businesses from Big Sky Country to showcase their goods and products in front of fellow Montanans."

Secretary of State Jacobsen: “This weekend is incredibly thrilling for businesses in Montana. Our state is fortunate to have outstanding local businesses, especially those in the Made in Montana program. I invite you to join me in celebrating and supporting these home-grown enterprises.”

Here's who took home some awards this past weekend:

Marketplace on Main (Cut Bank), Best Retailer

Gluten-Free Prairie (Manhattan), Best in Show

Stonefly Studio (Billings), Best in Show honorable mention

Roots & Shoots (Great Falls), Best in Show new exhibitor

In the press release, Gluten-Free Prairie owner Deb Wheaton says, “Montana is the last best place to start a new business." Gluten-Free Prairie, located in Manhattan, was honored with the Best in Show award on Friday afternoon. Lt. Governor Kristen Juras delivered the awards at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds.

Here's a story I wrote on a Best in Show winner back in 2022.

And, by the way, the photo above is from a great article written by Michael Foth that highlighted 65 Made in Montana products.

LOOKS: Things you'd likely see in an awesomely '80s garage

From scandalous bikini calendars to your dad's AMC Gremlin, '80s garages were a treasure trove of adventure, good fun, and sometimes downright danger.
