The good news is that places like Bozeman, Missoula, and Billings aren't expected to get any more snow, at least for the foreseeable future.

For the rest of April through the beginning of May, you'll be able to comfortably spend time outdoors, so start making plans to take advantage of the upcoming warm weather.

Temperatures in early May are expected to be well-above average, with temperatures in the 70s, or even the 80s possible.

Warmer temperatures mean that high mountain snow will begin to melt, and vegetation in lower elevations will begin to dry out. If you plan on camping or starting a bonfire, make sure you do it responsibly.

It's time to dust off the shorts and sandals in Montana, and get outside to take advantage of all that the state has to offer.
