Popular Montana Restaurant Known For Its 'Famous' Pies is Closing
According to a statement shared on Facebook, the Iron Horse Café & Pie Shop, home of the Three Forks Pie Lady, will be closing its doors in September.

After 8 years of flipping pancakes, stacking sandwiches, and serving up your favorite made from scratch comfort food and pies, it’s time for us to hang up our aprons and retire the “Iron Horse Café”. We will serve our last meal on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
The restaurant was put up for sale earlier this year. The Iron Horse Café & Pie Shop is known for its hearty breakfasts, homemade pies, and the kind of friendly, small-town service that made everyone feel like a regular. It's more than just a place to eat; it was a community hub.
While the restaurant is closing, there is some good news. After taking a short break, the Three Forks Pie Lady will continue to bake pies, and a new cafe is expected to open soon in the space at 24 Main Street in Three Forks.
While we're sad to see it go, we're thankful for all of the great food, memories, and delicious slices of pie. The final day is business will be September 13, 2025.
