Country Star’s Montana Stunt Backfires in a Big Way
It's not the kind of headline you'd expect from one of country music's rising stars, but here we are. A popular artist allegedly trespassed on private property in Montana for a photo shoot.
Country Star’s Montana Stunt Backfires in a Big Way
According to Whiskey Riff, genre-bending country artist Shaboozey has been accused of trespassing by a landowner in Montana. In a social media post, which has since been deleted, the landowner called out the country singer for allegedly trespassing on her family's property and sharing photos on social media.

The landowner stated that she didn't feel that the trespassing was malicious, and that a phone call or a knock on the door would've been the right move.
Here are the pictures that Shaboozey shared on his Instagram page:
We welcome you to our big, beautiful state that prides itself on having acres upon acres of public land to enjoy. We also welcome you to build relationships with the folks that reside here; we are pretty friendly people. A phone call or door knock would have been the right thing to do.
The incident has sparked debate among locals and fans alike, with some calling it a harmless misunderstanding, while others say it’s a reminder that fame doesn’t excuse disrespect for Montana’s fiercely defended private property rights.
We get it, Montana is beautiful and serves as the perfect backdrop for any picture, but private property needs to be respected.
Shaboozey seems like a good guy, and I'm sure he didn't intentionally trespass. It happens to a lot of people that visit Montana, Thankfully, the landowner was understanding and offered him an olive branch.
