CNBC found some statistics from Smart Asset, who published a list of the Best Metro Areas for 2023 Grads, and learned that one Montana city is the most fun for young adults.

The Montana city that is the most fun for young adults is Missoula.

Why was Montana ranked #1? The Missoula area has a high percentage of young adults from ages 20-29 and a high percentage of bars, restaurants, and concert venues. Missoula has big city amenities in a small setting that attracts young folks.

The Missoula area is also known for having direct access to hiking trails and ski areas and putting on several incredible community events. Housing in Missoula is still semi-affordable whether you are renting or owning. Even if you buy a home a little outside Missoula, you are still close enough to enjoy the amenities.

After reading this report, we have to agree. Missoula is a fantastic town with many things to experience and enjoy. People might think Bozeman is more fun for young adults, but the housing market and job opportunities beg to differ.
