Worlds Most Famous Basketball Team Is Coming To Montana

For those looking for some fun this winter for the whole family, the Harlem Globetrotters are coming to Montana and will make multiple stops across The Treasure State. Locations include Billings, Bozeman, and in Missoula.
One of the most famous teams in sports, the Globetrotters has lived up to their name as they have traveled, played, and performed all over the world delighting millions of fans over the years.
The Harlem Globetrotters were founded back in 1926 and this will mark their 99th year of performing. The original team was all players from the south side of Chicago and morphed into the Globetrotters. The team has been to Montana several times before and is always well-received. However, this year they are bringing their 2025 World Tour-sponsored by Jersey Mike's
Why are the Harlem Globetrotters such a big part of American culture?
The Globetrotters have not only provided fun family entertainment for decades, they also played a huge part in cultural differences over the years. Long before desegregation and different bathrooms for different colors, the Globetrotters were building bridges between the white and black communities across the country through basketball, comedy, and entertainment.
Of course, you can't talk about the Harlem Globetrotters and not talk about their biggest rival, the Washington Generals. The Generals have been playing the Globetrotters for most of the team's existence, While the Globetrotters usually win those games, they have taken a loss or two over the years.
According to the record books, the Globetrotters have lost 345 games in the last 99 years. However, they've won over 27 thousand, and with a winning percentage of .987, they are owners of the biggest winning percentage in all of professional sports.
