Victoria Coates is Deputy Assistant to President Trump and Senior Director for the Middle East on the National Security Council. She's also a military historian who once worked for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), and former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.

She's also someone who says she considers the family of former Vice President Dick Cheney close friends, and people she greatly admires- including Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY).
