On Saturday, March 5, Congressman, Ryan Zinke, kicked off his reelection campaign at the annual Lewis and Clark Lincoln and Reagan Day Dinner celebration held at the Gateway Center in Helena.

"This campaign is about restoring America and about protecting our shared Montana values. America is exceptional and remains the greatest nation ever conceived. I believe in the values and rights enshrined in the U.S. Constitution, and I believe in protecting the opportunity to obtain the American Dream for all citizens. We are a great nation; we have an obligation to leave our children and grandchildren a legacy of freedom, opportunity, and prosperity.

"In Montana, we know that our resources, land, wildlife, and way of life are better managed here than in Washington, D.C. Everything I do in Congress is to represent the best interests of Montana and fight hard against those in Washington who believe they know better. We've made a lot of progress. We lifted the ban on crude oil exports; we passed real timber reforms out of the House, and we closed dangerous visa loopholes which terrorists could exploit to make their way to America. But there's more work to do.

"I am humbled by the support our campaign has received. I look forward to hitting the road and visiting with folks who are committed restoring American Exceptionalism and replacing Washington politics with Montana values."
