What Do Oprah And The Big Game Have In Common
The cost of their commercials!!! What? That’s right, if you watch the Superbowl for the commercials then I’m sure you will tune in to Oprah’s final show.And advertisers are gonna pay dearly. Advertisers are being charged $1 million dollars for a 30 second commercial on Oprah’s season finale.
It’s only one third of a typical Super Bowl commercial price tag, but massive for prime time finale’s.
There were only 3 other shows that charged more for finale commercial time. #1 is the “Friends” finale in 2004 at $2 million per commercial. #2 is the “Seinfeld” finale at $1.4 million per and at #3 is the “Everybody Loves Raymond” finale at $1.2 million.
Could be interesting but I’ll bet “Go Daddy” isn’t one of the advertisers. We’ll see.
