Over a hundred western Montana veterans turned out Wednesday evening at the National Guard and Reserve Center to meet with state VA officials.

NBC Montana reports that officials listened as veterans gave their opinions on the health care problems they have experienced. The Missoula VA clinic was discussed, and solutions to its overcrowded conditions included moving the facility to the old federal building in downtown, Missoula.

In a related story, Montana's Senior Senator Jon Tester released a YouTube video in which he proposed several new pieces of legislation to assist veterans with their health care needs.

"CHAMP VA does not allow a child under the age of 26 to remain on his parents' insurance like they can in the private sector," Tester said. "I'm also proposing a bill that would reimburse severely disabled veterans who seek in-patient care at VA rehab programs, and I'm placing more emphasis on preventative healthcare."
