MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — The chief executive officer of Vann's Acquisition LLC has left the company less than three months after announcing the closure of all three Vann's locations in western Montana.

Greg Regelbrugge told the Missoulian on Tuesday that he left for personal reasons and is working in Seattle. He declined further comment.

A holding company for the Florida-based Khaledi Group bought the bankrupt Vann's for $4.5 million last year. Regelbrugge came on as CEO in November. He had been a part-owner of the company.

This spring, Regelbrugge announced the closure of Vann's stores in Missoula, Hamilton and Kalispell and plans to move the company headquarters to Bozeman.

Khaledi Group officials say they want to stabilize the company and hope to re-enter the western Montana markets.
