I see in the November 2, 2015 issue of The New Yorker they will be exposing the World’s 50 Best Restaurants. While that may be highfalutin and all, I tend to simpler tastes. So in no specific order here are my five favorite places to eat in Bozeman.

Bacchus Pub - It's just around the corner from the office and is rather amazing food. I think I've tried everything on the lunch menu twice (or more) and have never had a bad meal. Enjoy the New England clam chowder, if offered - simply the BEST in town.

The Red Chair - In the short time they have been open, they have become the go-to spot for everything from a late night snicky-snack to weekend brunch. Swing in and try the pastrami sandwich. You won't regret it, hold the pickles.

John Bozeman Bistro - I do enjoy my diner Sunday brunches. But when you need or want to class it up a touch without emptying the wallet, hit the Bistro for Sunday brunch - if salmon or walleye are available as an add-on to your eggs bennie, smile and accept.

Dave's Sushi - Speaking of fish, SUSHI! I still think of myself as a sushi newbie and when a former co-worker discover my new found fascination with it turned me on to this place. My best recommendation is order everything! You will not find a losing choice.

Montana Ale Works - Everybody needs that place when family or friends show up, announced or not. Montana Ale Works fits the bill perfectly. Steaks, burgers, divine salads and a local beer list not to be overlooked. If they don't have your beer, you really don't want it.

So who did I miss? Who would you pull off the list and replace with?
