The sky is falling, the sky is falling. Calm down Chicken Little thou doth protest too much.

No less than three government agencies claim there is clear and unimpeachable evidence of Russian interference in our national elections as well as those in European nations as well.

The CIA, the National Intelligence Director, and the National Security Agency are all reporting that the Russians tried to influence the 2016 election and are out to get your vote in the 2018 election.

My personal opinion to this news is — so what?

It’s Time To Think For Yourself

Maybe because I do radio I read and analyze things more that the average person.

But I can’t imagine an instance were I would be influenced to vote for someone based solely on a social media post or a campaign ad.

Seeing — is not always believing when it comes to elections.

I guess therein lies the problem. Many uninformed voters apparently believe only what they see on the surface..

Its way too much trouble to find out if the information is fact or fiction and therefore uninformed voters would play into the influence of Russian information.

You’d think with the over use of the term “fake news” that no one would believe anything strictly based on it’s appearance in social media or in a campaign ad.

The time has come for the vast unwashed masses to start thinking for themselves. It’s too important for the voting public to not be informed in today’s volatile world.

Some Final Thoughts

All politics are local. Who you vote for locally will have a much more profound impact on your daily life than what any pontificating buffoon does in Washington, DC.

You owe it to your family and your fellow citizens to properly vet your candidate of choice and encourage others to do the same.

We are the freest nation on earth yet we take our most prized freedom for granted.

The freedom to choose those who will represent our wishes both locally and nationally can’t be taken lightly. We place a huge responsibility on the shoulders of these public servants.

We owe it to ourselves to make our selections regardless of Russian propaganda or interference.

We have to be independent thinkers. Not sheep spreading a false meme on social media. Comments below.
