Senator Steve Daines, who is co-sponsoring The Montana Energy Summit, which will take place in Billings on May 30 and 31, has just announced another speaker for the event. John Barrasso Chairman of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, will be featured at the event.

“I want to thank Senator Daines for inviting me to be a part of this important energy summit,” said Barrasso. “Wyoming and Montana have led the way with the responsible development of our energy and natural resources. I look forward to discussing ways to maintain American energy dominance while increasing jobs across the West.”

“I am excited to welcome Senator Barrasso to Billings for the 2018 Montana Energy Summit,” said Daines. “As a fellow Westerner, Senator Barrasso understands the importance of high-paying jobs for hardworking folks, and that’s what Montana energy is all about. I look forward to hearing from him on how we can more fully unlock Montana’s energy potential.”

The Montana Energy Summit is an opportunity to bring the nation’s energy business leaders to Billings. The Summit will highlight Montana’s growing energy sector, the jobs that Montana energy will create and how to unlock Montana’s energy potential.
