Senator Jon Tester has officially filed with the Secretary of State as a candidate for United States Senate. Sen. Tester was joined by his wife Sharla at the Montana State Capitol to file the paperwork.

In the Senate, Jon hopes to build off his record of fighting for the people of Montana. During his time in the Senate, Tester voted against tax cuts and against health care for Montana's children

Tester claims he has fought for Montana’s veterans and for better schools.

“As a United States senator, I have had the humbling opportunity to defend the state that three generations of my family have called home,” Tester said. “Over the years, we’ve fought to protect the Montana we know and love from outsiders while continuing to hold government accountable. Today, I’m honored to file to continue that fight for the people of the best state in the best country in the world.”
