Montana Republican Senate nominee Matt Rosendale slammed opponent, Jon Tester, for receiving more than $3 million from the League of Conservation Voters and their Montana affiliate, Montana Conservation Voters, in the form of bundled donations, independent expenditures, and donations from employees.

According to Rosendale, this "dark money" group is propping up Jon Tester’s campaign, despite Tester’s comments that he’s "not going to rely on super PACs or dark money groups."

“Time and time again, Jon Tester proves that he’s out of touch with Montana values,” said Matt Rosendale. “Tester’s not only a hypocrite for publicly condemning dark money while at the same time personally benefiting from it but he’s also being backed by the same fringe environmental group that pumped MILLIONS into Hillary Clinton’s failed presidential campaign.”

Montana Conservation Voters spent $6.3 million in support of Hillary Clinton's failed presidential campaign.

This group seems to be pushing an agenda that includes support for President Obama’s Clean Power Plan and opposition to the Keystone XL pipeline and even the Farm Bill.
