Not only are boys encouraged to play with toy kitchens, and girls with building blocks, but the pronouns “him” and “her’ (or “han” and “hon” in Swedish) are banned from usage.  Instead, everyone is refereed to with the invented pronoun of “hen.”

Luckily the victims were only injured by the attack but Sweden's sense of security has been faultered. If the attack was a suicide bomber which most assume to be true, it would be the first in the countries history (Naomi Powell, The Globe and Mail).
