Phew. That was starting to get embarrassing. At least twice on national TV, Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) refused to endorse his fellow Montana Democrat, Gov. Steve Bullock (D-MT), and his presidential run.

Make no mistake: this wasn't merely a rejection of former Commissioner of Political Practices Jon Motl, this was a rejection of Gov. Steve Bullock by the normally very liberal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Montana Secretary of State Corey Stapleton attempted Wednesday to overrule Gov. Steve Bullock's veto of a bill by saying the governor did not deliver it to his office in time.

Former Obama campaign manager Jim Messina, who was the longtime chief of staff to former Sen. Max Baucus (D-MT), spoke to Yellowstone County Democrats over the weekend.
