Oklahoman’s Can Pack Heat in Public

The law, that officially goes into effect today, also allows gun owners with permits to carry loaded firearms openly on their own private property and also allows permitted gun owners from other states to carry them openly while visiting or traveling in Oklahoma.

Bozeman Police Investigating A Shooting – UPDATE – Names Released

UPDATE (Nov. 20) 9:00am

On November 19, 2012, the Gallatin County Coroner responded to Warble Lane in Bozeman to a report of an apparent murder/suicide.  The two individuals were identified as 31 year-old Uriah Storm Kimble and 33 year-old Alicia Nicole Smith.

I went to Bob Wards with Ken Long, a friend of mine to pick up some ammo so we could do some shooting at his place up Rocky Mountain Road. And when we showed up everyone of the shelves were empty? The salesman said, we can't keep ammunition in stock, everyone keeps buying it up and stock piling it. I wish I had a re loader I could have retired by now, oh well. But I saw this article about the increase in gun sales in the U.S.. It's what they call the "Obama Factor".

49ers-Raiders Preseason Game Marred By Shootings, Leaving Two Wounded

Two fans were shot in a Candlestick Park parking lot right after the 49ers beat the Raiders 17-3 in a preseason game on Saturday. One of the men was seriously wounded. A suspect has been arrested in the attack.

The incident should remind some fans of the San Francisco Giants fan who was beaten up by two Dodgers’ fans back in March. And, separately, during Saturday’s football game, a 26-year-old man was assaulted and knocked unconscious in a bathroom.

Fort Hood Shooter Could Face the Death Penalty

The Army has announced that Maj. Nidal Hasan will be tried in a military court and is eligible for the death penalty for his role in a 2009 shooting spree at Fort Hood in Texas.

An attorney for the former military psychiatrist, who's been charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder in connection with the deadly rampage, wanted capital punishment taken off the table. It has not yet been decided whether an insanity defense will be used.
