Back in the day, high school classes would only show “how a bill becomes a law” videos, but Rhett Felix, a teacher at Eureka High school outside of Peoria, Illinois, tried to spice things up a bit. He used clips from Comedy Central’s ‘The Daily Show with Jon Stewart‘ to educate his students about current events, but the local school board placed him on paid suspension once word got out.

Jerry Seinfeld and Jon Stewart poked fun at Dr. Marcus Bachmann, husband of Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann, for his views on "curing" homosexuality Wednesday night on 'The Daily Show.' But, when Stewart took things too far, Seinfeld put him in his place with a solid smack across the face.

Seinfeld admitted that gay jokes at Bachmann's expense came easily, especially after watching a video compilation highlighting the doctor's voice and somewhat flamboyant dance moves. "Of course I'd love to say Dr. Marcus Bachmann buys Brawny paper towels for the packaging," he said.

‘Daily Show’ host Jon Stewart got into a heated – but surprisingly civil – exchange of words with ‘Fox News Sunday’ host Chris Wallace over the weekend, in which the two debated everything from bias in the mainstream media to whether or not Stewart has a political agenda on his show.

The most buzz-worthy moment occurred when Wallace accused a ‘Daily Show’ segment of trying to make a political comment by comparing Sarah Palin’s bus tour commercial to an ad for genital herpes. To which Stewart said, “You really think that’s a political comment? … You’re insane. Here’s the difference between you and I. I’m a comedian first … I’m not an activist.”

Jon Stewart and Anthony Weiner have been friends long before either man became famous. Which is why the past week must have been difficult for Stewart, as his duty as a political satirist has demanded that he relentlessly mock his old buddy.

Some have argued that Stewart has been derelict in that duty. For that, Stewart apologized in a mock 'Daily Show' press conference Tuesday night, which spoofed the press conference Weiner held Monday, in which the Congressman acknowledged and apologized for sending suggestive pictures to various female Internet friends.
