New Co-op Opening In Downtown Bozeman This Week

Do you shop at the current Community Food Co-op on Main Street? According to the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, around 11,000 people of the Bozeman community shop at the current location. Due to the large customer base, the Co-op is opening a second location in Downtown Bozeman at 44 East Main Street.

Bozeman Raises $13,000 for Japan

Bozeman's community (you guys!) raised over $13,000 in relief money for Japan this past Saturday with a food drive at I-Ho's Korean Grill. Noriko Ishibashi, I-Ho  Pomeroy, Ted Watanabe, and Masaki Uchida were the organizers of the food sale.

City Deciding If Peach Street Needs A Bike Lane

What do you think? I work downtown and live on the West side of town and would like to ride my bike occasionally and Peach would be the ideal route so I am for it. Traveling East from 7th street is usually a battle with all of the cars as the roads get narrower and also more the roads are more beat up with potholes and other road blemishes. What do you think, should Peach get a bike lane?

Seventh Grade Bozeman Student Going To National Math Competition

Bozeman's own Amy Chou will a competing seventh grader in the national Math Counts competition. Chou is the daughter of MSU's assistant professor of mathematics, Fengjen Luo. The seventh grader has already proved she can as the math portion of the SAT's but her sites are set on the upcoming national competition.
