Surfer Carlos Burle Rides Largest Wave Ever Ridden 80+ Foot Tall [VIDEO]

To Big Wave surf, you are either good or nuts. But to take on a wave that may have just set the world record, I'm guessing Carlos Burle is a little bit of both and one lucky man.

"It was luck. We never know when we will be catching the wave. I still hadn't surfed any wave and everyone had already had their rides.For me, it was a big adrenaline moment to get back there after what happened", says Carlos Burle. Fellow surfer Maya Gabeira wiped out and was rescued by her peers, from the stormy waters of Praia do Norte, Nazaré, Portugal. Carlos performed CPR on Maya before she was taken to a nearby hospital.
