During this show you will be handed a full platter of healthy information by four practitioners from Spring Integrative Health in Bozeman.
Josh Overcash has discovered his natural gift for healing through Body Talk therapy. Lauren Oechsli has travelled a very interesting journey to tell us about five element acupuncture. Genevieve Butler is both a medical and fertility massage therapist.
Dr. Alisun Bonville, clinical director at Spring Integrative Health will be my co-host.
Jacobus introduces the show and his guests for the hour – Alisun Bonville and Josh Overcash. Josh explains the philosophy and technology of body talk and tells his story about people in endstages of life.
A caller asks how Josh can “ask” the body whom or what therapist to see within the clinic. Josh explains a therapy session of someone with an injury.
Jacobus introduces Lauren Oechsli, including a history of five element acupuncture. Jacobus talks about economic pressures helping people to go more “within.” The guest talks about how everything that exists is composed of these five elements, which should be in a dynamic state of balance: fire, earth, metal, water and wood.
Dr. Bonville talks about how five element acupuncture comes in to play, for example, with PMS and menopause. The guests talk about what “constitutional imbalance” is, as well as where the imbalance is.
Jacobus introduces Genevieve Butler and she talks about fertility massage, including the what happens when fertility and stress are combined.
Genevieve talks about medical massage, along with some issues. The guests talk about how a health coach is really a “personal trainer” – they ask questions like “where are you at the moment” and “what stresses you today,” as well as helps you set up an integrative plan.
