Jens Lehman and Tim Wiese are two of the better soccer goalkeepers in the world, having both represented Germany in international competition.

Now, Lehman is suing Wiese for telling a newspaper reporter that Lehmann should "go to the 'Muppet Show'" and be treated "on a couch."

And it wasn't as if Wiese's barbs were without provocation: They were actually in direct response to criticism Lehman has levied against Wiese when Lehman was working as a television commentator.

Lehmann is seeking $28,000 in damages, and a German court will hear the case this week. One can only imagine that being told to "go to the 'Muppet Show'" is a harsher insult in German than it would be in English.
