Scott Austin Price appeared in Missoula District Court on Tuesday and allocuted to five felonies, including the stabbing death of 58 year-old Lonette Keehner during a meth-fueled rage at the Super 8 Motel on December 21, 2015.

District Judge Robert L. 'Dusty' Deschamps asked Price to describe what he did before a packed courtroom filled with Mrs. Keehner's relatives, law enforcement personnel, County Attorney Kirsten Pabst, and Chief Deputy Jason Marks, who prosecuted the case.

"I stabbed Lonette Keehner in the neck at the Super 8 Motel with the intent of killing her," Scott admitted to Judge Deschamps.

"Did she die as a result of what you did?", Deschamps asked.

Price replied, "Yes, she did."

Deschamps then asked Price to allocute about the stabbing in a Missoula grocery store parking lot.

"I attempted to steal a car, and in the process of stealing the car, I stabbed Susan Ledger, and did so with the intent of killing her," he said.

Deschamps asked, "Where was she when you stabbed her?"

Price replied, "In the Fresh Market parking lot by her vehicle."

Price also entered guilty pleas for throwing the murder weapon out of the stolen vehicle and for conspiring with Sarah McKnight to purchase zip ties and duct tape in order to abduct and bind a victim and steal a vehicle.

Marks outlined the next steps in Price's case.

"There's a pre-sentence report to be prepared by adult probation and parole, and they will provide that to the judge, and then sentencing is set for December 12th," Marks said. Both Price and McKnight will be sentenced together. "The state will be seeking life in prison without parole."

Price has also appeared in Custer County on a charge of deliberate homicide.
